"Armchair Tycoon" and "Poolside Tycoon". His latest book, "For the Love
of Alice" is about the Prime Minister's mission to help a desperately

on the book - and wrote the forward. Malcolm frequently appears on national

chat shows. Malcolm writes daily columns for ShareCrazy and Yahoo Finance.
He is a pianist, occasional entertainer and lecturer on finance. His
interests are church-going and playing poker. Malcolm's latest project

Alan Green grabbed a copy of Malcolm's book 'Armchair Tycoon' in 1996, and as a result of following the tips and hints he found there, he started trading shares, using some of the proceeds to fund the first version of the ShareCrazy website. Alan spent 17 years involved in advertising and marketing in the directory business, and had the idea for ShareCrazy and cartoon investor Joe Public after becoming bored with the dull and lifeless online resources available at that time. Alan lives in Brighton and is married with two children, and largely thanks to his son, has spent a considerable amount of time helping to run a local youth football team, which included qualifying as a football referee! Alan is a Spurs and Brighton & Hove Albion supporter, see press release

Leslie Ames MSI
Les started his City working life at stockbroker's JM Finn & Company
in 1967 and eventually went on to the old Stock Exchange floor as a
Blue-Button (trainee dealer) in 1969. This was not the Stock Exchange
vacated after Big Bang and recently sold by the LSE, but the original
building. Les progressed to become a dealer, but in 1971 left the City
to pursue a career outside of stockbroking. In 1986 he was invited back
to stockbroking by JM Finn & Co. and returned before the 'Big Bang'
had been initiated. He was there during the 1987 Crash, an experience
he says he will never forget. He began dealing for Institutional clients
in 1988 and in 1999 (after 13-years) departed JM Finn to join Teather
& Greenwood. Les has helped set up 2 Institutional Dealing Departments
in recent years and is now happy to be part of the extremely successful
team at WH Ireland in London. Les has been awarded the great honour
of having been elected Chairman of The Stock Exchange Veteran's Charity
Association for a 3rd successive year. A station he is very proud to
undertake.
