Rules are rules
Hoodie’s can definitely be construed as unsociable and to the elderly they can be scary. Some even consider them as a security risk... and that is exactly how it was perceived in a Southampton shopping centre. The wearer was asked to remove the said garment, for security reasons. The trouble is, the ‘hood’ was being worn by a 6-year old boy. The boy was walking through the shopping centre with his mother, when an over-zealous security guard ordered little Jack Johnson to take off the hood he was wearing, because the mall has a "no-hoodie" policy. The 3ft tall boy fell foul of a ban, in force at many malls throughout the country, aimed at protecting shoppers from being intimidated by unruly youths. Jack’s mother Tracey said, "It was chilly and Jack was coming down with a cold so I wrapped him up warm." When she protested, management at the mall apologised and gave the boy and his mother some shopping vouchers.
Not Again!!!
The man who has been dubbed... ‘Britain's unluckiest man' and who has suffered 16 major accidents, is in trouble again... he’s been laid low after falling down a manhole. John Lyne's misfortunes include being struck twice be lightning, a rock-fall in a mine, nearly drowning and 3 car crashes. Fifty-four Mr Lyne, from Stainforth, near Doncaster, looks like being out of action for 32-weeks after his latest mishap. The accident damaged his back and injured his left leg and both knees. Although he has a lifetime of broken bones, he says he’s not bitter, just glad to be alive. He said, "Everyone thinks it is just hilarious. My mates, family and wife Susan just laugh about it.” He says he doesn’t think there is any reason or explanation for it though, it has just seems to happen to him. On his way back from hospital, his bus crashed, breaking the same arm in another place.
