Hello you Crazy lot,
Having looked this week through my childhood diaries, I was horrified to find that I was a gambler at the age of 14.
This involved three card brag mostly. I record, in these elderly tomes, my great misery every time I lost - even though it was only sixpence here or a shilling there.
I've never gamlbed since, and I hastly refute those cynics who claim that share shifting is gambling. It isn't - it's investing with quite a lot of forethought and research. Not just putting money on something which only happens by pure chance.
Oh yes, and I also do the national lottery. That's because the outlay is tiny and the rewards - even if they never happen - would be marvellous.
Actually, I regard my dealings in penny shares in the same light. I have lots of different companies in the hope that every so often one becomes a ten or twenty bagger- or perhaps even better.
This happy bonanza tends to come lucky once or twice a year - and it really does help my bank balance along. You'll note that I do not put loads of money into just a few penny shares, because this is not economically sound, in my view.
Penny shares often fall rather than rise, in my experience. It's just that when they do rise - they can really hit the roof.
So that's my penny share system, gang. A small amount in a lot of penny companies, with the hope that one or two of them will explode upwards in the year. May not work for you though, so don't just follow me. Rocking on!
