THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS: 11TH - 15TH DECEMBER 2006
From top share author MALCOLM STACEY

Hello Crazy folk,

So the Footsie has hit a 6 year high. Yet it's still 10% or so away from its all time record.

That indicates to moi that it will keep on rising till it breaks through its all time record. And then it should keep on going up after that.

I say this because history shows that share prices keep on rising. There can be set backs along the way. The present set back is now six years old. And that was quite some record of its own.

But now the big fall is nearly clawed back, then the big step forward is also due.

Of course, all this is speculation. It might even be worse - wishful thinking. But though history is never any cast iron guide to the future, at least it is some sort of guide. And I really think a bit of jolly optimism in in order.

This is still a buying time. And as I'm almost out of ready cash I will have to sell some of my slower movers to make some dough to invest in the faster rising stocks.

That I will do. Because my humble belief, chums, is that if I do nothing, just because the Footsie's rising, then I will be missing a trick. Profits on unoutched shares, can I think, be increased by buying and selling them at the right time, even within a bull market. God Bless!
