'Stacey shares his knowledge - Former reporter advises on stock market'

With a stock market revival expected as the Iraq war winds up, private share investors all over Britain are turning to a former Doncaster man for the latest information on shares. Malcolm Stacey, who was a Star reporter in the town in the 1960s, jointly founded a free share website three years ago. It has grown since then and now attracts two million hits a week at his new home in Tenby, South Wales. Called ShareCrazy.com, it has rapidly become a popular forum for private investors throughout Britain and all over the world. To keep dealing costs down for shareholders, the website also - very unusually - does a share dealing service at rock bottom commission rates.
Malcolm says the site has rapidly become a byword for helping private investors, teaching raw beginners and many of its original members are from South Yorkshire. ShareCrazy.com was founded after Malcolm wrote a book called 'Armchair Tycoon' on how to make money from the stock exchange without knowing anything about business. Malcolm, who is also a former presenter of BBC Radio Four's 'You and Yours' programme, writes a daily column on the site and said:

"We launched ShareCrazy.com for private shareholders because we realised there was absolutely nobody to represent them in the City….

"Much to my surprise, it has been hugely successful. We now have more viewers than many popular TV programmes…

He added:
