INVESTOR EASE GOES SHARECRAZY!Share trading and subscription website ShareCrazy.com Ltd have announced the merger of operations with Investor Ease (UK) Ltd. Established in 1994, Investor Ease is one of the largest investor resources anywhere, and currently offer subscribers in-depth fundamental and historical data. The ShareCrazy website launched in May 2000, and has rapidly grown into one of the leading UK websites for online sharedealing. ShareCrazy added its own online subscription service to the range of product offerings, and looking forward the two companies will pool collective resources to add to and enhance ShareCrazy's trading and subscription offerings. Additionally the acquisition will mark a radical overhaul of the Investor Ease CD-Rom subscription product, and a new Sharedata distribution engine will be jointly developed to serve future offerings from both Investor Ease and ShareCrazy. ShareCrazy MD Alan Green commented the merger with Investor Ease would "greatly broaden the scope of offerings available to ShareCrazy and Investor Ease trading and subscription products" and the enlarged company "now offers further competitive advantage and a broader base of revenue resilience, in line with our future objectives". Investor Ease MD Jon Sherren said the merger offered an "exciting opportunity to become part of a leading brand in online sharedealing", and he saw "considerable potential and development opportunities going forward".
