| Activities | | PetroLatina Energy (formerly Taghmen Energy Plc) is engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas assets in Latin America. Its current oil and gas assets in Guatemala comprise the Las Casas 6-93 concession covering 130,186 hectares in the Peten Basin of Guatemala which, based on a recent independent evaluation, is estimated to contain potential gross reserves of approximately 29.6 million barrels. Additionally Taghmen was awarded Licence A7-2005 (Tortugas/Atzam) in September 2005. This licence has a 25 year contract consisting of a 6 year exploration licence convertible to an exploitation licence at Taghmen`s option. The size of the acreage is approximately 77,718 acres and is located in the north-western corner of Guatemala. |
